Check out the next day was quick and easy. It was our first visit to Newcastle and will definately be back to stay for longer to be able to try the different styes of restaurants close to the hotel and take the walks around the parks. "Stayed here a few times over the years. Service is good and rooms are comfortable. Quick walk for eating from KFC to top line dining. My preference is usually Wests Leagues for good value and proper drink prices. "

The thing that makes this place is the staff, every single staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly even going above what one would reasonably expect. "We stayed at the Lane Retreat for a wedding. Probably not enough shade for a 3pm wedding, but the day and facilities were just great."

"Hot shower, comfy bed, a bit tired but clean. Cleaners need a cobweb room. Reception staff freindly. Rooms closest to main road are a bit noisy."
