"A clean and roomy house, ideally set for what we needed. Nice walks in the area and shops are 5 minutes on foot. Stephen is a pleasant man, not intrusive or over bearing. He just made himself known to us. I will look to book again in the future."

"Arrived to find the street parking was actually 3 spaces, half a block away that were already occupied by other cars. We had to park on the sidewalk temporarily until a spot opened up to move to. 39 steps up to a third floor apartment, (not mentioned in the listing). The apartment was clean but dated. After our host's representative left, we discovered that there were no bath towels to be found. We contacted the host and he told us where to look for back-up towels. There were none in the storage...

"The place is clean and new but since it’s summer, fan is a must and that’s what we didn’t have. The location looks a little bit unsafe and so we took out all our valuable stuff from the car. But overall, for the price that we paid it was worth it. "

"Positiv: Tolle Lage, sehr freundliche Gastgeber, schöner Ort, super Aussicht auf die Burg, schön großer Fernseher, tolle Lage. Negativ: Zusätzliche Kosten in 3 Emails unterschiedlich. Einmal ist die Rede von erstattungsfähiger Kaution, einmal das Bettwäsche extra kostet, einmal von Endreinigung und Bettwäsche und in allen Fällen noch Strom und Wasser. Im Nachhinein ok, aber sehr verwirrend. Zudem wurde trotz Abbuchung nicht der ganze Reisepreis abgebucht?!? Hier mussten wir kurzfristig noch...

"My room was like a little apartment. We stayed there a week, and on the 3rd day we realized you have to request the remote to the AC in order to use it. The food does not come with the room youll have to pay extra. Very tasty tho. The workers treated us very nice compared to the rudeness we endured throughout Germany. If we come back we will choose this establishment."

Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. The rooms are comfortable and our dog was allowed to join us for dinner and breakfast (as an observer). There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location). Highly recommended, and we shall return next summer!"
