"This was our first visit to Germany and so glad we stayed here. The location was a perfect home base to visit Munich and other towns within the Bavaria region including Worthsee. Hosts have a well maintained and lovely property."

"Our family had a wonderful time in Aitrang. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. There was a ping pong table and board games to keep our children entertained and we all enjoyed using the wonderful hot tub. It is set in a very tranquil location with idyllic views. The Frank Family were wonderful hosts and everything went smoothly. We didn't want to leave!"

"The farmhouse was wonderful! Peaceful, beautiful, and very comfortable. Angelica and her husband were delightful!! We would come again to stay for a week and relax!! It is very helpful to have your own car. You will be able to see so much more there locally. But, there is a bus stop not far away you can walk to and get to the train station. There are local car rental places you could use during your stay. This is a wonderful place to stay!"

The host spoke excellent English, and was very helpful. Munich is about an hour away by car, and Augsburg is just 30 minutes. "Found this hotel to be a classic smaller German city hotel. Very close to pedestrian zones, the train station and restaurants. It was small, but efficient. Rooms were clean and neat. "Highly recommend to anyone interested in experiencing genuine Bavarian gemütlichkeit in a convenient location near Munich. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable with modern bath fixtures. The food we ate in the gasthaus was fantastic, and if you're lucky enough to eat there on a Sunday you'll love the delicious desserts that are available, to include my favorite German kuchen, bienenstich. The Munchener schnitzel is worth a trip back by itself! The staff at this family-run gasthaus is very friendly, attentive, and are fluent in English for those of us that only speak a smattering of Deutsch. My wife, as well as the other couple we were traveling with, had no previous experience staying in a German gasthaus. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to extend our stay, however, there was no availability of rooms. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Landhotel and Gasthaus Wiedmann!"

Comfortable clean option near the University

"Very clean, comfortable room. Nice bed and shower. It is very close to the University, but you should know that there isn't much else around. There is a small grocery store and bakery below the hotel, but for restaurants you'll need to take a tram. That said, the Augsburg tram system is very easy to use, and it's not far into the city center. But the hotel itself is great. I would definitely stay again."

Great place!

"Great place! Close and convenient! Only about 30 minutes from Munich. Nice balcony and wonderful breakfast! We were able to see Augsburg soccer game, Augsburg Panther game ( hockey), and the NENA concert! The hotel was right next door to the concert!! The front desk staff was excellent; they left me know were the closest laundromat was when I asked! Superb!"

"I am very happy i stayed here. The hotel was very nice and the train station is a 5 minute walk and safe. Staff speaks english. I think the bar is open at all times except breakfast time. I think John(front desk, many arm tattoos) checked us in and helped us try and find our lost luggage. I want to personally thank him for all his help and a pleasant experience. I would recommend this place to anybody."
