This stunning property resides within a charming, privately owned hamlet of cottages, once part of a larger estate tended by monks in bygone years. This tranquil setting offers an ideal base for exploring the serene countryside and coastal vistas of rural Wales. Aberaeron, with its picturesque harbour and array of dining options, including the nearby beach, is a mere 11-mile drive away. Nestled amidst three cottages crafted from traditional Welsh slate and stone, it was originally designed to house horses and hay. For picking up local produce, the charming historic town of Lampeter is just 5 miles.
Enter into a warm and inviting open-plan kitchen/living/dining area with stylish furnishings and décor. Cosy up on the contemporary sofas or dine in the elegant corner kitchen. French doors open onto a private enclosed patio and garden. Up to the loft bedroom, where a king-size wrought iron bed awaits (please note there is a sloping roof and low beams). Here you’ll find the spacious bathroom boasting a free-standing bath offering lovely views, along with a walk-in shower. There is also a convenient separate WC with a sink.
Outside, enjoy your own private enclosed patio and garden, complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture, ideal for al fresco dining. Explore the shared 6 acres of grounds, where a charming bridge leads to a riverside picnic area – the perfect spot to unwind to the soothing sounds of flowing water. You may catch a glimpse of the magnificent Welsh cob horses grazing in the field, depending on the season.
