What a perfect place to stay. Room was lovely. Bed really comfy. And made so much better by the friendly staff! Food was brilliant too. If we stay in that area again, we will 100% stay again!

Unexpected trip to S Wales To collect something, Decided to make a weekend of it take my Wife & visit the Internal Fire Museum & Devils Bridge Station. I came across the Grannell Hotel on the net,which looked and sounded ok and was quite well situated for our needs. I honestly could not have picked better Clean comfortable room, Good food especially the included Breakfast and our Hosts Tracy & Brian were absolute stars, It was more like visiting friends. Even the 3 Saturday night locals were a good laugh too. Also a good size car park. It is on a corner but there was no disturbing night time traffic we slept very well. We would not hesitate in visiting again.

Upon arrival I was greeted with a very warm welcome. I am a solo traveller and was made to feel right at home. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating. Great value for money with an amazing cooked breakfast and a good selection of juices and cereals. Bedroom was well appointed and quiet and comfortable. Great location as near enough to neighbouring whilst escaping into the countryside. Would definitely return.

Amazing stay, 100% stay again
needed to book a cheap hotel close to property we intended to view so went for the cheapest hotel in that location. Although we didn’t expect it to be top notch, we were pleasantly surprised. The Grannell was in a beautiful village and the only pub for miles. We received a warm welcome and were quickly shown to our room which was decorated to an excellent standard. The food was all home cooked using local ingredients, with steak to die for and good value for money. Despite finding the mattress on the soft side (prefer very firm) we had a fantastic sleep waking to a fully cooked breakfast with the added option of Cereal and toast, all included in the price. The owners couldn’t do enough and were very friendly, can’t wait to go again, great place and fab owners. Thanks for a great stay!
