The Sycamore offers true river relaxation. Our home is the place to take a breath, a nap, reconnect, and relax.

The home includes:
-An onsite gym for a river view workout.

-A game cabinet for kids and adults!
-Quiet days.
-Sunset views.

The home sleeps eight:
-Two bedrooms (Queen Beds)
-Sofa Bed (Queen) (The Den(*
-Air Mattresses (Queen + Single)
-Two full baths (Shower Only) + (Shower/Tub)
-Pack N Play

Enjoy a large, eat-in kitchen and dining room seating for 6-8 + a kids' table!
Coffee + Tea Provided (sugar/sweet + low, splenda)

Two Large Living Spaces:
The Den - for the afternoon nap or a little work from home, away from home. (Considered the third bedroom)*
The River Room - for your morning coffee, afternoon nap, evening cocktail, and lounging with the river view.

The River + Outdoors!
Private water front for fishing.
Our section of the waterfront is not shared with our neighbors. There is no dock/pier available. We do not share the piers/docks. Limited access to the water.

Perfect stay
The River Home gave our family the perfect stay for us to attend our 96 year old Aunt’s memorial service at St. Mary’s White chapel Episcopal Church. The house gave 5 us lots of room to spread out and lovely places to gather and reminisce. The property is beautiful with large trees, (oh that Sycamore), and the view of the river is beyond awesome. We were impressed with the friendly neighbors on our daily walks on the single land road. Our hosts couldn’t be more accommodating making sure there was a grill available for us to use for the awesome oysters we found at Rouge Oysters! Highly recommend this stay, one of our favorites. Thanks for opening your home to us!

Great weekend getaway
My wife and I stayed here for a couple days with our two young boys. Before arriving AnnMarie was very helpful and prompt in answering all of our questions. Check in was very easy. The house is very clean with what appears to be newly installed flooring and new furniture in every room. It has a great layout for families with plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other... a big dining room, large living room and an all-weather sunroom with amazing views of the river, that is basically a second living room. The kitchen was large and well appointed with all the basic necessities... new cookware, dish-ware, spices, garbage bags, coffee maker with coffee, etc... With kids it was really nice to have a washer and dryer to use. My four year old loved going down to the river to fish(we brought our own fishing rods). My wife and I loved watching the sunset over the river with a cocktail. If you are looking for a riverfront getaway, I would highly recommend this place. We wish we could have stayed longer.
