"Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly."

"The owner met us at the front door with the key. He was very friendly and accomodating. After that, we were alone and undisturbed. No noisy neighborhood, no traffic, no neighbors above, below, or beside that we could hear. Shower wasn't anything special but was by far the best we had in Europe. "The home is located in near the town center, and is very close to public transportation, and a 10-15 min. walk from the train station. The home was comfortable, and cosey. Miss Anne Marie was a wonderful host and was so gracious to us. Miss Anne Marie lives in the first floor, and the apartments she rents out are on the second and third floors. There is no elevator, so I wouldn't say that it is wheelchair accessible. We wanted an authentic German residential stay, and that is what we enjoyed....
