"Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly."

We had to ask if it was possible to check out an hour later due to a transportation issue and the gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and let us check out at a later time. "I had a clean, comfortable, charming room, which was kept well stocked with delicious teas and coffee (plus real dishes, a microwave and refrigerator, to make it even more homey). Staff was kind, welcoming and friendly. The whole place is lovely and the breakfast is outstanding. I truly enjoyed my stay here!"

"The home is located in near the town center, and is very close to public transportation, and a 10-15 min. walk from the train station. The home was comfortable, and cosey. Miss Anne Marie was a wonderful host and was so gracious to us. Miss Anne Marie lives in the first floor, and the apartments she rents out are on the second and third floors. There is no elevator, so I wouldn't say that it is wheelchair accessible. We wanted an authentic German residential stay, and that is what we enjoyed....
