But nice to dip into to get out of the heat. Lovely rooftop space. Breakfast can be strange with just one LOVELY female staff running around, but great quality provisions. Great hotel, great location, great staff."

"This is a beautiful, authentic hotel in a fantastic location, and I have no complaints, but I would recommend avoiding room #11 IF you prefer absolute privacy and quietness (you may have people sitting right outside of your window, happily chatting away, and a pipe that channels some of the upstairs wastewater runs right through your room). :) We traveled in a midsize SUV and parking was a challenge - with a larger car, you should avoid that area of the city to begin with, but if you are willing to walk a little bit, there are plenty of public parking garages, with at least one really large one on the other side of the river (Plaza de Cuba). "
