I like the spacious room and large Jacuzzi tub once I finally got to them, but parking and check in was a nightmare the kiosk did not recognize my reservation. There were only two room receptionist and an 11 Person line in front to check in. There were no parking spots and people just sitting waiting for someone to leave to get their spot. There was a 20 car line to get valet parking. I would not recommend this hotel due to their lack of staffing.

My first time 8 hours drive to visit rio hotel casino reason my daughter weeding We booked 3 room Im at room 22007 we so disappointed the room 22009 next to me Friday 11/29/24 and Saturday 11/30/2024 they hit the teenager daughter we almost call the police By the way the vacation we is not happy at all we can’t sleep with them they not respect so loud we hear everything but not my Bussiness I just want to share with casino hotel team about what my family have deal with it on we vacation we not happy . We stress. Thanks …

Much worse than a few years ago. I don't want to come back here again. Extremely long line to check in and check out. Dirty floors. Near bed lamp did not work. No microwave. No coffee machine. No shuttles to/from the airports and to/from the strip. Very limited food options and bars. Extremely long line to take morning coffee (30 people, 40 minutes to wait) in Starbucks, which is almost the only option to have breakfast around. No usual evening shows. Extremely bad!!!

We reserved an updated deluxe room but upon arrival were told there were none left. Whats the point of a reservation? The front desk worker made it sound like he was giving us a deal suite upgrade, 1,600 sf amazing room. It was not. It was super old and outdated, awful gross furniture and smelled so bad like smoke in the room. I’m shocked they actually let guests still stay in these old awful rooms that need to be renovated asap.

I was looking forward to staying here because they have renovated many rooms. I was looking forward to using the tub and relaxing. Unfortunately we did not get a renovated room. Although the room overall was nice, the shower door didn’t close, the tub was full of calcium build up and did not look inviting, the sofa had a couple of stains and burn marks from cigarettes(?), and the dining table was super dusty. The biggest issue was there were only 2 elevators working and trying to leave to go hang out downstairs, it took us 30 minutes (exactly 30 minutes) to get downstairs. On our way back up Saturday evening, it took us nearly an hour as one of the 2 working elevators were broken. Several people were upset and although it was not late we really just wanted to get back to our room. I called to the front desk and complained. The only offer for the inconvenience was late check out. I didn’t want late check out! We left as early as possible the next morning to avoid the lengthy wait. As much as I like the casino and entertainment area, I likely won’t be back to stay.

This is the worst Vegas hotel and Casino I have ever stayed at. It is old, smelly, dirty and needs to be renovated or torn down and re-built. Be sure to request the Empenema Tower as it is the only tower that has been remodeled this century. Expedia doesn’t tell you that on their website when you book.
