First, let me say the property was great and the company Koala who handled our issues were great. However, our low ratings are due to some serious issues we had with the owner of the property loosing our reservation which caused major issues with our vacation plans. We spent 3 hours trying to get checked in and Marriott could not see our reservation although we had payment details and a confirmation number. Once we were able to get in touch with Koala, there super helpful agent Rosanna was finally able to get us into a room, however, we had to move to a completely different condo in a different location 2 days later. We had to change plans and lost time and money due to these issues. It wasn't the Marriotts fault, but this has left a bad taste in our mouth. The location that we had to move too, although a nice property was not exactly walking distance to the strip and monorail since the safety of our family and friends was a concern. We had already purchased monorail tickets so we lost $252.00 since there were 7 of us for 4 days that we never used. Next, we had a boat rental for the day on Lake Mead from 8am-5:30pm. Due to having to change resorts, we were not able to get to Lake Mead until 12:30pm so lost half the day and half the money for the boat rental of $570.00. As of now, we still have not heard from the owner of the original condo we reserved. This caused so much stress and headaches from having to change plans and moving from one place to another but we will give Rosanna with Koala praise, but not hearing from the owner has lead us to tell anyone buyer beware when making a reservation from this owner. Koala did credit a days stay to us but we do not feel it made up for all the troubles caused by the original owner we made the reservation with.
