"The property is stunning. However, more training is needed for the staff. Ordered food from one of the pool bars and after an hour, my food never arrived. The remote in my room didnt work, i requested service, it never came. I asked for menus to the restaurants to determine where to go for dinner and no one could get this information for me. So, with some training, this has the potential to be a 5 star resort"

"What we liked - bedrooms were modern and clean. Plenty of sunbeds around the two pools and on the beach. Food was OK with plenty of choice - the specialist restaurants were very good. Staff very friendly and gave excellent service. South of the island was pretty. What we did not like - WiFi kept dropping out and did not work in our room for 2 of the 7 days. Evening entertainment we felt was poor. Only had low calorie coke drink - would have liked more low calorie soft drinks. Felt underneath...

"Absolutely loved everything about the JW Marriott Le Morne! The setting is dreamy, the sea is so transparent, the staff is kind, caring and efficient. The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. When in Mauritius, I will always go back to this hotel. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one!!!!"
