The large town of Compiegne is only 25 min drive away with a train direct into Paris. "I am a young woman solo vacationing from the U. S. and absolutely loved my stay here! I had trouble contacting a taxi for pickup and the owners were so kind to call one for me and make sure I got where I needed to go. The property is lovely and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Turning the locks on the front door are a bit tricky, but I had no other issues. Highly recommend this area if you are visiting the nearby Chateau, and the village itself is very pleasant and safe. "

"Annabelle’s house was perfect for our stay in France for the Olympics. Just 40mins by train into central Paris but also close to Disneyland Paris for the younger children. Each bedroom had an en-suite and the barbecue was great. The kitchen is a little small for a larger group and the fridge could have been bigger but we had a great time and found everything we needed. "We had 5 of us staying here for 10 nights. The property itself is a great size, so much room with all the amenities we needed. The garden was private and a great size for large groups. "This house was well equipped with everything you need, and the decor was lovely. The bed is comfortable. We used it as our base for visiting the Champagne region. It was a drive to get to the villages surrounding the property which was a shame as I thought it was situated in a village with shops in walking distance. It has all the big supermarkets and bakeries within a few minutes drive, a very rural location amongst the grape vines.😊"
