"We love staying at this house. We stayed 2 years ago and were so excited it was open again this year. As with any rental, there are always little things that could be newer or cleaner, but nothing that takes away from the enjoyment of the weekend. The kids love sledding down the big hill on the property, it's nice you don't have to drive somewhere to have fun if you don't want to. Lots of stairs to get to bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of quirky little rooms the kids love picking different rooms...

"We absolutely love staying at Haus am Fluss and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The cabin is in a beautiful wooded area near the river, close to town but far enough away to feel secluded and peaceful. One of my favorite things to do is watch the sunrise over the other side of the river out the huge, gorgeous windows of the cabin. Incredibly stunning! The hosts are so kind and responsive. The best VRBO hosts we've ever had. 100% recommend this incredible cabin rental! "

There was a bit of communication confusion between booking with VRBO and the property management that needs to be ironed out, but that is such a small thing in an otherwise perfect weekend. "We stayed with a group of 7 including 2 kids. House had more than enough space and tons of sleeping options. Kids loved the bunk bed room with climbing wall. Upstairs had lots of sitting space and spacious open kitchen with everything you need for cooking meals in. It snowed during our stay and we had fun in the snow outside and in the hot tub. Best part was definitely the unbelievable lake view. So gorgeous!"
