We had a great time. The location was excellent as it was nestled between both Bennet Spring State Park entrances and was easy to get from the highway. Our cozy cabin was situated just down hill behind Lunkers Tackle and BBQ on a gravel road. They are still working on improvements but we had no trouble parking and unloading. While the website said it had 2 bedrooms, it did not. It had 2 full beds and 2 twin beds all in the one main room, a small kitchen area with a not too small fridge/freezer, compact microwave, drip coffee maker, a plug in burner and sink which had great pressure and nice hot water!! There were 2 small overhead cabinets which were just the right size for a weekend stay. The bathroom was almost too cozy but it was clean, it had a simple shower stall (also with good water pressure and hot water) and the toilet flushed like it should. There was no closet or places to hang anything up anywhere but again... it served our purpose, was clean and the people at Lunkers were nice.
Bring utensils, shampoo and maybe a towel or two if you like a good size bath towel. The fan and AC worked great thankfully.. Picnic Table and grill area were fine but rocks were really hard on your feet so wear shoes !!! So, Cozy? Yes and maybe not perfect, (wasn't fond of the accordian bathroom door) but it was rustic, clean, comfortable with no bugs...so much better than tent camping in the heat or rain. Best of all, no one complained! YAY!
