Great location!
I enjoyed this property and communication with Gaia was very easy. She even arranged a pickup and drop off at the train station the day I left. Train station is walking distance - but rolling luggage over stoned gets a tad bit tiring. This apartment is right I. The center of the old city From the roof you can watch construction on the excavation site. 4 instead of 5 (really 4.5) because there are s few maintenance issues that would be nice, although not critical.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely old building, with a very cute resident cat! The host was fantastic and let me check in super early which was a big help. Room is big, with a comfy bed, a fridge, a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. It’s overlooking the main square so is in a great location. The roof terrace is really big but is shared which I didn’t expect, but maybe I missed that in the listing. The apartment would benefit from a little TLC, you couldn’t have the air con on at night as it made a squeaking noise so the room was really warm. You couldn’t shut the bedroom doors as a roof hatch in the hallway was loose so it was very noisy on a Saturday night. I’m sure they’ll all be fixed though.

Nice apartment in an awesome town.
Property was nice. We had booked a room overlooking the ampitheatre, and since they had a problem with plumbing at that property, we were seamlessly diverted to another apartment in the historic center. Owners rep. met us at a parking lot outside the walls of Lecce to meet and escort us to the apartment. Excellent hospitality!

CENTRO STORICO LOCATION
We stayed here 2 nights 03/19, 03/20 and I must say the location can't be beat. Sits right on Piazza Sant Oronzo and from the rooftop terrace there is a commanding view of the amphitheatre and square. The room is on the top floor, 72 steps to climb. The bedroom held 3 people, one queen, one single, with room for luggage. Also had extra bedding in the wardrobe. The bathroom was large and equipped with sink, bidet, toilet and large shower. NOT FOR MOBILITY CHALLENGED Looks like the building has recently undergone renovation as the walls and stairwells look feshly plastered and painted. A great central location for exploring Centro Storico of Lecce. We would stay here again, but pack lighter next time. It would ease the climb up the 72 stairs. Very good communication, which helped the self-checkin go smoothly. Enjoyed our stay here very much. Good restairants near by.

1 Std. Zeitverschwendung, weil Hausnummer nicht stimmte
Lecce ist super. Mit der Wohnung gabs leider Probleme. Die angekündigte und gemietete Wohnung mit Dachterasse am Hauptplatz der Stadt stand nicht zur Verfügung, angeblich war die Putzfrau krank geworden. Eine vom Sohn der Vermieterin angebotene Ersatzwohnung in einer kleinen Gasse 7 Min vom Zenrtum entfernt, war ganz schön, 2 große Räume, die Küche war allerdings extrem klein (so ließ sich der Kühlschrank nur öffnen, wenn eine Arbeitsplatte abgeklappt wurde) und es fehlte an manchen Teilen der Ausstattung.
