Good hiking opportunities from the cabin. Small village store had needed items. The ferry is right in the village, though a limited schedule to be aware of. Overall we had a great time during the stay."

Was originally supposed to be just me but I ended up making some friends at the hostel I stayed at in Oslo so they tagged along on the drive with me. Totally forgot to change the reservation on the way there but Ragnar was more than welcoming when we arrived!! When we got there he gave me the run down of things in great detail which was very helpful and even had a little gift for us! I wish I could keep this little...

"Even if the furniture is quite old, it is clean and totally adequate. It has a very cozy charme. The village is quite quiet and the loudest noise was that of the water stream not far from the house. The only thing that was interesting to put it mildly was the smell coming from the bathroom. One of the water drains was smelly, but you can manage by keeping the window open. All in all it is a cozy little place and we would visit again."

"We loved our stay! We had a beautiful view of the fjord and loved the village of Undredal. The house was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful and we enjoyed renting kayaks and paddling along the fjord. The grocery store had what we needed but be aware that they close at 5:00 and aren’t open on Sundays. There isn’t an outlet in the bathroom that we could find so we had to dry our hair in the hall where there wasn’t much light, but we made it work. Loved having a washer and dryer. The only problem we had was the road to the house is very narrow and it was blocked 3 different times by this farmer and his equipment and vehicle. I thought we were plenty patient waiting for him to get out of the way, but one time I had to toot the horn because he was no where in sight and boy was he mad!! We stayed 5 nights and took day trips from this location. It was perfect."
