Wild Thing - Blowing Rock, Hot Tub, Big Views, NEW

ZERO IMPACT FROM HURRICANE HELENE ...
WILD THING : We are “where the wild things are”. Blowing Rock, big views, hot tub, unmatched sunsets, with one of a kind ambiance and style. A brand new custom built cabin designed by a Premier Host for guests who want the best. Located on 50 private acres just 2 miles from the center of Blowing Rock, no hidden neighbors, your own cabin perched above the John’s River Gorge with views of Grandfather Mountain, Grandmother Mountain, and the west views all the way to Linville Gorge.

We are where the wild things are! Set just 2.5 miles from the heart of the village of Blowing Rock, we are located perched on the wooded ridge like a tree house within our 50 acres of private land that directly borders the Pisgah National Forest. Soak in the hot tub, relax on the deck, watch sunset, cook indoors … or outdoors, soak in the bath tub, enjoy endless hot water in our 7 floor shower, hike our land for hours into the forest, enjoy movie night off our StarLink high speed WiFi … or … do nothing at all.

Wild Thing is a one of a kind cabin, designed from scratch by your host after years hosting thousands and thousands of stays at the families other 7 properties. Taking all our knowledge and putting it into a custom design that was crowdsourced from Europe and constructed just this past year. Hi-end appliances, decking, real solid tiger wood floors, and amenities through out. We are not a “pop up” vacation rental. We are for the guest that wants to leave their current life behind for a minute, and be pampered by our experience. Come enjoy our views while wrapped in elegance and ambiance. We are where the wild things are!!!

Amenities we hope you'll love include : 2 Master Bedrooms to equally bathe 2 couples in luxury, Continuous Hot Water ... you can't run out, a Soaking "She-Tub" in the upstairs Master, a 7 foot Shower in the downstairs Master, a Linear Gas Fireplace, solid Tigerwood floors, Leather furnishing through out the house, Recessed Lighting, the "Forest Theatre" connected to Starlink WiFi... surf and stream to your hearts contentment, secluded Hot Tub on the lower deck, your own acreage adjoining the Pisgah National Forest to explore ... and more ... We took all our lessons from over 3000 stays at our other cabins and tried to put them into Wild Thing ... come enjoy what we are all about! We are where the wild things are!

Bonus Round
This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as amazing as the first time! Chris was so helpful and friendly, with quick answers to any of our questions. The property is so gorgeous it takes your breath away when you step onto the deck the first time!

Where the Wild Things getaway
The views from the property are spectacular and the cabin itself is beautiful. A loved the modern design with a touch of rustic, wood elements. There are some great hills to get a workout in too. Enjoyed finishing the night relaxing in the hottub. Roads are steep so be prepared but the directions provided are spot on. I look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic stay!
Husband and I celebrated our 22 year anniversary! The house was beautiful and the view was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting outside on the spacious deck with a glass of wine. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. The house is convenient to Blowing Rock. Communication with property owners/managers was great. We enjoyed our stay; can’t wait to return!

Perfect weekend getaway
This place is amazing! Hosts were super accommodating, and we had great communication. The view from this cabin is absolutely breathtaking. We definitely want to come again in the fall to take in the view with all the foliage. Everything was clean, and comfy. The hot tub was perfect. We've stayed at so many cabins over the years and rarely do we want to repeat. This one is the exception. We will be back!

Where the Wild Things Are
This house was absolutely amazing! Although I do recommend arriving during the day to get the lay of the land. We arrived after dark and that drive is nothing to trifle with! But the journey is absolutely worth it to reach this mountainside gem! The views are spectacular and the house itself is gorgeous. It is very well appointed and maintained. It was the perfect spot for our group. Adults and kids both loved it. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely be staying here again!

Hidden gem
This lovely home is in a great location. Near downtown Blowing Rock but not far from Grandfather Mountain. The wraparound deck and outdoor furniture was a big hit. Lots of windows with natural light in the house. Hot tub was a big plus.
