"We had a wonderful week. Communication beforehand was great and nothing was too much trouble. If youre looking for bright lights and busyness this is not it - though its only a car journey away. The pool about a minute's walk down the path was beautiful. The cottage was clean and contained everything we needed. Would return."

"This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. "The property internally was very good but needs some finishing off. Property full of flies. VRBO advertised property inclusive of use of pool and hot tub. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. "We had a lovely stay at the château in August 2022. The house is classically French and spacious. The star of the show is the outside space. There's outdoor speakers, a lovely long sloping garden with trees for shade, a huge pool and lounger area and you're surrounded by sunflower fields. The owners were easy to get hold of when we had questions. All in all a brilliant holiday, we'd definitely go back."
