"Loved the view and location, right on old Bayeux. Lots of access to the restaurants and the view is magnificent.The check in process was good, they have a concierge service. The building worried us initially because it smelled pretty bad coming in, but the apartment was very clean and nice."

"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. "Communication was a bit of a problem as I don’t speak French and never received an actual address. A bit of a smell when we arrived and a few bugs in the unit. However, we loved the backyard garden area and spent the entire evening back there. Also to note, no hand or dish drying towels in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. There is no dishwasher here."

It’s close to bayeux if you need and supplies restaurants etc. The owners are right on site at the main house if you need anything. They did check in with us to make sure all was in order . Pool was lovely- unclear on booking though that you got 2 slots a day - these had to be pre booked for the week on day of arrival. "Great large room that is very, very clean. Excellent location! Very quiet and very quaint. Easy walk to the downtown and there you will find fantastic restaurants and amble shopping. Staff here are very helpful. Great location for those seeing the WWll beaches or even a day trip to Mont St Michele. We wanted to stay longer!!"

"Initially I was concerned about the size of the room 709. Not much closet space. However, we got over that and enjoyed our time. The bar and adjacent pool patio were excellent in the warm weather. At the end of each day we had a swim and a cold beer. Is there another hotel so close to everything with such an amenity? We walked 500m to bus station Saint Patrice where we caught the 121 to Juno Beach which was the target of our visit. A most comfortable bus there and back. The Luxemburg is also walking distance to Bayeux’s three principal museums. I would recommend the Luxemburg to others."
