"It was a great location good cheap buses to town every 15 minutes . Lots of nice food right there . The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better . "

Le vieux port de La Rochelle est à une trentaine de minutes à pied, ou accessible par le bateau bus en une vingtaine de minutes. Propriétaires très sympathiques et disponibles. Le truc en plus : la piscine pour parfaire le séjour. Je recommande."

"We had a great stay in Joel and Jeannette’s well appointed apartment in a good location with easy access to La Rochelle, harbour and beaches and Ile de Re. Great to have use of bikes especially for the 10 minute cycle into La Rochelle. Joel and Jeannette were very welcoming and helpful."

"Our trip was compromised by illness. First, my husband wasn't well so we were delayed in leaving home. Several days after we arrived I developed a serious gastro flu. Though we, unfortunately, were not able to enjoy this trip, the property, particulary the view is even better than described. Though I hope other travelers don't need to admire this, clever placement of a bedroom mirror, allowed me to see the ocean even when I was confined to bed. The locaation of the property is excellent too....

"Le logement est très bien situé, parfait pour aller à la plage mais également très facile d'aller à pied jusqu'au centre de la Rochelle. Néanmoins, très déçus sur la propreté du logement ( la robinetterie salle de bain, cuisine sale, taches sur le tapis du salon, forte odeur à notre arrivée), la cuisine est vétuste mais le propriétaire nous a dit qu'elle devait être changée dans sa totalité. "
