6 km from the lively seaside resort of Pornic, the old village of Les Moutiers-en-Retz overlooks the bay of Bourgneuf. The village offers services and stores and is characterized by large 19th century villas. This semi-detached house has a sunny terrace and a spacious and enclosed garden with large shady pine trees. From its quiet location in a dead-end street, it is only 80 meters to the beach, where you can collect shells. Along the littoral you can find small cozy bays and visit dolmens and former abbeys, and 2 km away a 1 hectare saltwater lake attracts with a beach and good swimming conditions. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, where the freshest fish and seafood, especially oysters, dominate the menus. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards, and there is a horse riding school and sailing club within a 3 km radius. Pornic offers a casino and a thalassotherapy center, and there's also a golf course nearby. The island of Noirmoutier 25 km, the safari park Planète Sauvage 20 km, a water sports club 300 m. Parking possible on the property.

Location vieillissante
la location est très bien située pour visiter le secteur mais les conditions d'hébergement pourraient être améliorées. Les équipements sont vieux ou en mauvais état (four datant des années 80, petit frigo qui fuit et ne refroidi rien, parasol et tancarville rouillés) et il peut manquer des ustensiles de cuisine élémentaires (des couteaux aiguisés, un économe...). Bref, globalement une location chère pour le niveau de qualité proposé.
