"Vast improvement on last time I stayed there. Waiting and bar staff could do with training in customer service. Plenty of patrons had to ask for their food orders to be taken. I had to ask three times to xheck on tge status of our order. We cancelled dessert as it was over twenty minutes. "

"We stayed for one night b&b. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable, only bad was the heating off the room. It was extremely cold at night. The heating off the room was poor. Apart from that the food was excellent and the breakfast was plentiful and staff very attentive. I definitely would stay again "

"Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."
