"Its rare to find a family-friendly space that isn't dominated by that welcome. Kids can run free but don't mean it's not a lovely space for couples, seniors. The restaurant and staff are excellent hosts. We will be back. What a stunning spot."

"Cottage on a beautiful vineyard. So peaceful & quiet save for our chicken friends. Clean, spacious, full kitchen to cook. Laundry is coin laundry, so come prepared. No WiFi, but they do not advertise having it. Would stay again. "

"This is a great property and we had a wonderful week in Orford. The house is very well appointed with all that you need. It was very clean and spacious. While we only had the two of us, it is definitely large enough for a family stay. The house has a nice range of books, games, a large TV and stereo if you have a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need if you are on a budget and looking to cook rather than dine out. Situated in a quiet spot, we loved that we were close to all amenities and the beach. A short walk or a 1 minute drive to the IGA, Scorchers Café (great pizzas) and Wattlebanks Coastal Cafe. Only 7km to Triabunna where we had great seafood from the Fish Van. The Spring Bay Seafood and WIne Bar is also only a few km away and had great food and lovely service. The Orford Blue Waters Hotel and the Tandara Motor Inn are also only a short drive for nice meals. While out of the hustle and bustle of Hobart, we were only 1 hour away. We visited Salamanca Markets on Saturday first up in the morning then off to Port Arthur for the rest of the day. Centrally located, we enjoyed trips to Richmond, up to Ross, Swansea, the Tasman Arch and Blowhole. One highlight for us was to go for a walk at dusk and go rabbit spotting. Cottontail rabbits hop through the streets of Orford in the evening. Delightful sights!! Our Stayz contact Belinda was very helpful and answered any questions we had with a quick response. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. "

"A lovely house nestled on a hill that gives it privacy, but is only 5 minutes from civilisation (and excellent coffee!), the beach, or the main road back to Hobart. Do yourself a favour and spend some time here!"
