"Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). "We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. "The house is tucked away in an extraordinary setting on Brush Mountain and is an extraordinary space. The exterior features a cascading stream, valley-wide views, and a huge partially covered porch perfect for outdoor remote work or relaxation. The interior has soaring ceilings, wide plank floors, and lovely lighting and other touches throughout. Eric was a great and highly attentive host. I highly recommend it and will look forward to coming back."

"Dawn the host is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very quick response when i had a question. the only issue i had was the bathroom. it needs some attention. stopper in sink doesn't work. tub and shower need work. handle came off in my hand when turning shower on. there is tape around tub to seal the unit to shower and is coming off. "

"Room was clean and relaxing. I love the colors in the room. Great outdoor area with an outdoor fireplace, grill and seating. Really enjoyed the swing on the front porch. Walked across the street and enjoyed dinner at Duffys Tavern. There is also a really neat boutique and bike store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!"
