The best part of staying at this property is its proximity to Natural Bridge State Park, which is a true treasure! The hotel itself has very comfortable beds, but the on site dining is only so-so.

I love historical buildings and I just had a little trip to a natural break in the Safari park and it was the perfect location even with AC broken it was amazing we still had ac in our room!

Beautiful, pet friendly hotel adjacent to the park. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the Red Fox Tavern, and meeting Jennifer! Our Mountain View room was wonderful!

Overall it was a very nice historic hotel - location to Natural Bridge Park was very convenient. Unfortunately breakfast was not available on the day we visited and we were not notified of this other than a note posted on the dining room door that morning - which was very disappointing

The building is older but is beautiful and has great character. It’s a great location, close to the highway and right across from the state park. The room was spacious and clean. We did have some issues with the tub not draining, but we only spent one night so it wasn’t a big deal.

I loved the room, the view, the layout, all of it! I appreciated that the bathroom area had extra space for items. I do wish that there had been places to hang towels and washcloths to use more than once. Dining was tasty and with an English touch - so delightful!

It is an OLD building. The desk person had to physically show us to our room. Looks like it may have been a supply room at one time? Rather odd. But it was comfortable for one night. On sight restaurant was understaffed and overpriced. Historic would be a good word to use for an overall experience.
