Treetops Solar Sanctuary

Treetops is a light-filled, spacious studio apartment set in the treetops of magnolia trees, colorful and garden themed! Located in the lovely, tree-lined and safe Chevy Chase, it is within walking distance of the UK campus, football stadium, medical center, Arboretum, and the vibrant Chevy Chase business area. Nearby is downtown Lexington, with its many restaurants and bars. The apartment has a kitchenette with no stove, but with a sink, microwave, toaster oven , and mini-fridge. If one or two guests are children, five guests are allowed. For larger parties, rent the whole building and double your space! An outside stairway connects the two similar spaces; the bottom of which is named simply "Solar Sanctuary." The second cleaning fee is reduced to only $20! We loved feeling like we were surrounded by trees in the midst of the burbs. The stay was cozy and fun, the decor was whimsical and made me feel more at home than the usual sterile beige everything that comes with rental stats.

Wonderful property, great host

I stayed several days and was able to check out both rooms rented by the host. The room I stayed in was quiet and well maintained. Nice neighborhood for walking. The host was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Perfect Spot

It makes no sense to stay in a hotel when this unit is available. Perfect for a single or couple. Close to Chevy Chase and downtown. Very clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Dru is a first class host. Very attentive.

This space was very cozy and clean. Lots of thoughtful touches such as soft music playing on the big projection screen when we entered the room and a Keurig with several coffee options. The owner was a very good communicator. We had no trouble checking in. Very nice neighborhood. We would stay here again!

Delightful stay!

We loved our weekend in Lexington at Treetops on Garden. Dru was the kindest and most hospitable host we’ve ever had! Check in and out instructions were very clear and thorough. We had a very comfortable stay. For a studio apartment, the space is roomy. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to navigate to. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Lexington!

Love this gem!

We came to Lexington for my daughter’s cheer competition. The location was perfect if you need to get downtown. It’s also not far from the airport. We loved how cozy it was and the host was super sweet! If you’re looking for an alternative to a hotel then this place is perfect and is super affordable! My kids loved the huge projector screen and all the board games she kept in the closet. If we ever make our way back to Lexington, We would definitely stay there again!

Great for an Overnight Stay

The apartment was exactly as pictured. Very cheerful and colorful. Nice studio set up. Dru adds extra touches by providing coffee pods and a few snacks! Communication was excellent. We were able to walk to a choice of two excellent restaurants.

Adorable property!

My 6 year old son and I stayed here while helping my daughter move into her dorm at UK. The space was perfect for us and I liked that there was no one under us so I didn't have to worry about him stomping or being too loud. He also really liked the big projection TV! Very convenient to campus and a beautiful neighborhood where we felt totally safe walking around. I'll definitely be booking again when we come to visit my daughter!

We loved it!

I stayed with my toddler & newborn 1 night so that we could attend my newborn’s appointment at UK Children’s. Dru was SO sweet and accommodating, she went above and behind and helped us into the space when she saw how full my hands were. My toddler loved the space, especially the projector TV. We were all comfortable & cozy; I also don’t think my newborn has slept that well ever, even at home lol. Will definitely be recommending to friends who may have to come to the area, and keeping in mind for his future appointments!

Cute spot in a great neighborhood

The Treetops is a super cute little spot for a group of friends checking out the Lexington area. We were in town for an event at the horse park, and though the drive was a little long, we really enjoyed being able to relax at Dru's place at the end of each day. Dru was super helpful in getting us settled in, and her instructions were perfect for where to park etc. The only issue we had was my own...I must have missed in the description that there is no stove. Totally my own fault, and we still would have stayed here, I just would have packed food differently! Overall a good experience!

We’ve stayed at this property twice and had a great experience both times. The property is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
