"We wanted a cost-effective place to stay the night as our ferry arrived late in Liepaja. We found parking right behind the hotel, front desk was manned by an English-speaking young lady, so check-in was fuss-free. The family room was very large, generally clean, but well-worn (furniture had chips off the edges, some scratches on wall, etc).
