Too be honest the staff were wonderful and very helpful. It is not their fault the condition of the building. Either way, we anticipated it to be what it is, as this community is secluded and an old one horse town. Having a freezing cold shower and old scratchy towels is not ideal, so maybe they can work on getting a new hot water tank and new towels, bedding and flooring.

My room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Very good location which is close to restaurants and a convenience store. The owner is a very nice man. I mistakenly dropped my spare truck key in the key drop box instead of my room key as I was leaving early in the morning. When I arrived home I realized my mistake and called the hotel to explain what had happened. The owner said he had it and he would mail it to me. I offered to pay for the postage but he said not to worry about it. It was very nice of him to do so. I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

Nice simple roadside hotel in one of the world's most beautiful communities. I wish all hotel check in experiences were this easy. Don't expect huge beds but everything about this place is worth the value. Satellite tv lots of hot water, good detail in room cleanliness yet this place still has a lot of character. Close to shopping, coffee, breakfast whatever you need. Wake up to see the beautiful mountains surrounding you. I was even lucky and got to see an 8 point buck walking outside. I will definitely make this a stay whenever I visit Lillooet.

Well, where does one start?! The proprietor was friendly as was the cleaning woman. I met an interesting group from Bali who were riding motorcycles to Jasper and Banff! That's the good part. What I didn't like: Very small room. The smallest I've ever been in! Bedside lamp base was filthy! I'd post a photo if I could. Poor patch job around fixtures in bathtub. Box spring cover was severely stained. Missing lamp above bed but bracket still there. Framing around AC in wall cracked and peeling along with paint on wall. Would I stay here again? No Would I recommend this hotel? No. That pretty much sums it up! I have stayed in 2 other hotels in Lilloet on previous occasions; the Reynolds Hotel and the Hotel Victoria, and they were OK and really no complaints. I realize this is a small town and don't expect the amenities of a larger hotel in a urban area, which you of course pay for. I do plan on visiting Lilloet again when I ride up the Duffy Lake Road, just won't be staying at the Hotel DeOro....!

I didn’t feel the property was as it appeared in the pictures on Expedia. A few of the reviews about bugs made me nervous. I felt unsafe as I was travelling alone. Checkin was very quick and friendly but I just felt unsure about staying.

Very basic hotel. No elevator. Beds were very comfy. TV did not work. Lots of road noise. We could easily hear people talking at normal levels out on the street. We could not take a shower because there was no hot water. When we told the man at the front desk, he suggested we could shower in the sauna room. We left.

I liked the quick check in, the staff at the desk were quick but didn’t really explain much. The carpet in the room felt dirty and sticky, room smelled a bit like smoke and in the morning while sitting on the bed… 2 bugs that look very much like bed bugs!! I won’t stay here again..
