"I LOVED this place. It was reasonably priced and had such great restaurants and swimming. My only complaint is that the beach closed at 6pm…before sunset is odd. But otherwise was such a beautiful place. "

"Would rate this property very highly, mostly due to excellent staff. Friendly, helpful and always putting the guests first. The villa was roomy, comfortable and well appointed. The resort was quiet and private and the grounds, pool and facilities were kept in pristine condition. The restaurant provided a good selection and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. It is a little away from shops and restaurants but that is what makes it private. Would stay again. "

"We’ve just returned from a 1 week stay at the Banyan Tree Samui. It is a wonderful hotel. Before we booked we looked at reviews and were a little worried about things others had highlighted such as being overlooked or the level of maintenance. Honestly, I’m not sure why other reviewers made such comments! The first point about being overlooked is moot, the villas are so well laid out that you would only be overlooked if someone had binoculars at hand! The maintenance point, every day we saw people maintaining the villas, the common areas, the focus on keeping the villas in top condition is visible! As for specifics of our experience, from the size of the villa, to the breakfast, activities, food to the staff, we would give all 5 stars. We would specifically like to call out a few people, firstly Golf, he is an absolute asset to the group. He was amazing in his engagement, communication and just general customer service. We felt so happy to have his support during our stay. As it was our anniversary my husband planned a private dinner at the beach. We were fortunate to have Melon helping us that day and she was absolutely fabulous. Her customer service skills were exceptional, she never interrupted or intruded on our meal but was there when we needed her! She also took some beautiful pictures which we weren’t expecting - these little details matter when you stay somewhere like the Banyan Tree. All in all just a lovely experience and we cannot recommend the property enough!!"

"This Hotel was more like a Resort to me beautiful location to bring your family here. I will definitely vist again at this location very convenient location to go anywhere. "

"Breakfast is exquisit! Very many options from home made jam to sweet treats, hot food items, canapés, healthy shakes to wrap options. Food and drinks in the restaurants however are overpriced but there are dining options around that are absolutely worth a try. Rooms are spacious with a beautiful view of the pool and closeness to beach. Staff could be a little less on their phone and more knowledgeable about the hotel and its offerings/ happenings. First night we booked a table in the escape restaurant on the beach with fire show and nobody knew anything about it. They even told us that there was no fire show until we asked about the 3rd person! We also never received an email reply for airport transfer on the way here. We then just took a taxi from the airport (about 40min drive)! The hotel organized us a scooter - definitely recommendable. That way you can explore the island by yourself! The hotel itself could use some renovation especially maybe during off season. Sanding the front porches or repairing the wood on the sun beds/couches would be good. That looked a little worn out! Overall nice stay on a beautiful island :)"
