"Spent the night here with my partner it was amazing. Nigel and Robina the owners were very friendly and welcoming they took an imterest in us as their guests. They showed us to our room and were always around. Breakfast was a full english and was 10/10. The room was cute spacious with a lovely bathroom. The estate itself is large but is in good condition. "Excellent traditional English inn with lots of charm and character. The comfortable, warm room on a freezing January night was most welcome, as were the open log fires in the bar/restaurant. "The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."
