The steps are worth it
There is no elavator but having to take the steps is worth it for the location. The house was clean and inviting. We were met by our host when we arrive, she explained everything we needed to know. The location is excellent. Its just up the block from Rosso square which is an excellent central location fornmany tours.

Lovely apartment with rooftops view
A great clean apartment with fantastic view from the terrace with aircon which was vital during a heatwave stay in August. It is a short walk down hill to Rossio Square and you can catch a funicular during the day back up the hill but this stops at 8pm. Slightly harder to return to the apartment at night - which ever way you return you need to walk up the hill so it certainly keeps you fit!

We didn't miss a single thing in Marissas appartment! Comfortable beds, nice space, great air conditioning and first and foremost a LOVELY terrace with great views of the city and Tejo:)

Perfect apartment!
The apartment was amazing and the host Marisa gave us a great check in and check out process... Its within easy(ish) reach of everywhere you want to go.... its definitely a bit of a clim back up as youd expect but its well worth it for the morning and evening views!

Great location! Everything we needed was within walking distance. Depending on how you get to the apartment, there may be a lot of stairs but if you get there from north of the apartment it’s easier to go down hill that’s it is to go up hill. Wonderful view at night of the city. Several nights we sat on the balcony and could hear music playing at a venue across at another hill. Also views of the castle at night we beautiful. Would stay again.

Wonderful location!
We had a fantastic stay in Lisbon and greatly enjoyed the location of this space. It was very walkable to many areas and restaurants. Be aware, that there are many stairs to take to get to the apartment, but it is worth it. Communication with Marisa was great. She met us at the apartment and was happy to answer any questions that we had. I hope to return to Lisbon in the future and will happily return to this apartment.

Cute roomy apartment on one of Lisbons very steep streets
This property is on a very steep hill but there is a venicular closeby. It was close to most things we were interested in visiting and many good places to eat. The apartment was pretty well stocked and had a great view from the balconies (3). The 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment were a challenge with suitcases but the owner helped get them delivered to our door while we were out walking while waiting for check in. We really enjoyed this property but would warn people with physical limitations about the number of hills and stairs. Uber is very easy and cheap to use. A grocery store is a shoet walk and a grocery pull cart is available at the property.

Terrific property
This was a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was clean and well equipped with spectacular views over the city. We made good use of the terrace for evening meals. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood away from the main tourist areas with plenty of good local restaurants. Marisa is an excellent and helpful host who lives in the building.

Wonderful apartment close to the center of Lisbon. Nicely furnished. It is on the third floor so there are some stairs you have to go up, not to mention the apartment is up the hill from downtown, but otherwise a lovely location.

Beautiful Apartment
Our stay in Lisbon was so comfortable in this beautiful, clean, centrally located apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as a washer/dryer. The deck with table and chairs made for a lovely outdoor sitting area with beautiful views of the city. Marissa was very pleasant and helpful with all our questions. No elevator so you must be able to walk up 54 stairs to the apartment. Highly recommend this accommodation!

Great City Break
We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights in February. We were 2 adults, 3 teens & a 7 year old. The bedroom layout suited us perfectly and the living area had ample space. The 2 balconies are spacious and great for breakfasts in the mornings enjoying the view. The location is great & very central. Marisa was welcoming & gave great advice on the area. She was available for any questions we had. It was also great to be able to leave our bags there when we checked-out as our flight wasn't until late. I would very much recommend this apartment to any friends of family staying in Lisbon.

Lovely Lisbon stay
The apartment is incredibly spacious and modern feeling with stunning views of the city. It’s centrally located but on a quiet street so it doesn’t feel touristy. It is on a hill and 3 flights of stairs up but so is everything in Lisbon. Easy checkin & out. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Wonderful Apart for First Visit to Lisbon
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this apartment. It's centrally located with a good variety of food choices nearby including Nepali, Chinese, Thai, Portuguese and burgers. The apartment itself is very well appointed with everything you need - washer/dryer, coffee maker, gas stove, microwave, electric oven and an assortment of simple spices and oils to cook with. There were only 2 areas that I think can be improved. One is the non-stick frying pans have much of the non-stick coating already scratched off. Eating that stuff can be carcinogenic, so I think it's important to regularly replace them with at least 2 good working pans at any time. The other is the water heater - a bit small for a house that can sleep 6. When one or two people had showered, the person after that would not have enough hot water for a full shower. The apartment is situated near the top of a steep hill, but then so much of Lisbon is that way. My advice to first-time travelers to Lisbon who are considering this property: When taking the metro, stop at the Independente station and walk mostly downhill, rather than the nearer Maxim-Monis station, which will require you to conquer several steep inclines just to get home.

Our stay at this VRBO Listing was flawless. The host has considered and provided everything one would need for a convenient ,comfortable stay. The location contributed to our spectacular visit , we could walk in any direction and be in the flow. The neighborhood was quiet and the view from the unit was postcard perfect. The communication and hospitality from the host was exceptional.

This apartment was even nicer than the photos. Everything was lovely. And Marisa was very nice. The apartment has a beautiful view and is very well equipped. The neighborhood is nice too. I recommend taking the Lavra funicular down to the Restauradores metro stop. Avoid the Martin Muniz metro stop area. I was here with three friends and we each had our own bed and we were very comfortable.

Perfect apartment
We were two couples and this apartment was excellent with a bathroom each. Lovely views from terrace. Spotlessly clean and anything you could wish for was provided. Nice area and we ate in local restaurants which were good and very reasonable. Lots of hills in Lisbon and this was on a steep street but only 6 mins walk downhill to the centre. Unfortunately the funicular wasn’t working which would have made life easier! Used trams, buses and trains to get around. Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment and great location
This is a beautiful apartment and a great location. The apartment was very comfortable and had amazing views. We loved sitting on the deck at night after a day of walking. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I also want to say the the owner went out of her way to be very helpful and accommodating. A beautiful view
We were two couples that stayed in Marisa’s apartment and we couldn’t ask for a better apartment, location or view. Marisa met us at the apartment and went over everything with us, which was nice. This apartment looks just like the pictures. There is a view out of every window. Marisa was so helpful during our stay, she even booked taxis for us when we left. We loved everything about this apartment and would stay again and would highly recommend to friends with no hesitation.

Exceptional property and location
We were delighted with all aspects of Marisa's apartment. We could walk to almost everything, through charming, fascinating neighborhoods brimming with superb restaurants, lovely parks and squares, interesting historical sites, beautiful architecture., lovely shops. The apartment was beautifully designed and furnished, spotless, nice kitchen with everythging we needed to cook several meals (restaurants were wonderful so we dined out frequently)..
