"If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Mt. Dora the Heirloom Inn is perfect! We only had one night but since everything is walking distance we got to do so much in a short time. Fun shops and excellent restaurant right there! We loved it. Very kind and responsive property manager which was an added bonus. Hope to be back!"

"We pulled up to this obviously older hotel and were getting pangs of regret. The front desk is littered with post-its and random notes under the glass top. I was met at the door by a happy little dog and my wife began rolling her eyes. A casual front desk atmosphere was clear. Walking past the pool to our room, I noticed it was clean and the water was clear. I did not get the chance to sample it. We climbed the wooden stairs with 2x4 railings to our second floor room while making a mental note...

The family that runs it was attentive to my dietary needs, they were friendly, they provided water for us every day to take with us on our outings and literally everything we needed right down to extra towels and blankets were provided promptly. "My daughter had a volleyball tournament at the big house and i wanted something close. The building is older but the room was clean and no odor or stains. Its was very quite . The owners were very sweet and the cleaning crew was still getting rooms clean at 730 at night. I will definitely stay her again for a tournament. "
