"This is a great property and we had a wonderful week in Orford. The house is very well appointed with all that you need. It was very clean and spacious. While we only had the two of us, it is definitely large enough for a family stay. The house has a nice range of books, games, a large TV and stereo if you have a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need if you are on a budget and looking to cook rather than dine out. Situated in a quiet spot, we loved that we were close to all amenities and the beach. A short walk or a 1 minute drive to the IGA, Scorchers Café (great pizzas) and Wattlebanks Coastal Cafe. Only 7km to Triabunna where we had great seafood from the Fish Van. The Spring Bay Seafood and WIne Bar is also only a few km away and had great food and lovely service. The Orford Blue Waters Hotel and the Tandara Motor Inn are also only a short drive for nice meals. While out of the hustle and bustle of Hobart, we were only 1 hour away. We visited Salamanca Markets on Saturday first up in the morning then off to Port Arthur for the rest of the day. Centrally located, we enjoyed trips to Richmond, up to Ross, Swansea, the Tasman Arch and Blowhole. One highlight for us was to go for a walk at dusk and go rabbit spotting. Cottontail rabbits hop through the streets of Orford in the evening. Delightful sights!! Our Stayz contact Belinda was very helpful and answered any questions we had with a quick response. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. "

"The positioning of the property was great. Overlooking the water, quiet of an evening you can only hear the birds and the water. Management were so lovely - communication was lovely, helped with logistics and suggestions. I highly recommend the beach chalets. we plan to come back :)"

"Nice spacious room with beautiful view of the sea. No kitchen but there was a small microwave. The bathroom was clean and had a big bathtub. Close drive to nearby cafe. Also a restaurant downstairs which we did not go to. If you like fishing, this is the place you should NOT miss. On the wharf deck it's a brilliant place for fishing and I caught three huge ones in 30min."

"Great place to stay. Staff very friendly. Had dinner in the Restaurant. The four meals were disgusting. Cold and over cooked. We should have sent them back, but we decided not to make a fuss. Would not go back to the restaurant and would not recommend it either. "

"This place was great for families and pet friendly. Rumpus room for kids with table tennis, cricket equipment and basketball. Fresh berrie and veg garden. Gorgeous big bath for kids. Lots of puzzles and things for big kids to do. Milkshake makers, sandwhich makers and pizza oven with fire pit. There would be only one thing i would suggest to improve and that would be instructions for tv inmain lounge. Gorgepus beds and bedding to boot. Felt like a home away from home and locals were lovely."
