A pond for fishing (which everyone loved) and a farm style house that was homey and quiet. It was a close enough drive to everywhere we needed to go but far enough away. When asked how they wanted to spend our last night in Gettysburg, our children chose to return to Hartlaub House to enjoy a cozy dinner, a campfire, and Civil War cornhole- they LOVED staying here. "We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful and peaceful farm with lots of space to roam and beautiful scenery. Add in the beautiful horses and birds. It was a wonderful experience for all ages. The property is also located. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping , so it was just amazing."

"The home was old but served its purpose well. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little further from the Gettysburg battlefield than I would have preferred but it was the closest I could find that offered 4 beds which we needed. One bathroom was a challenge but we worked around it. The only negative was the street noise from the crossing where the house was located.
