However, when we were picked up from the port, we were asked/told that there was a "bigger apartment" for us, which we were told was nearby where we had originally booked and where we were anticipating staying for our trip. "Anna from Mersina was so on top of it from the get go. Everything was ready for us when we arrived by the 7:25 am ferry, even though we were early. She gave us loads of helpful tips, which made our experience on the island way better than it would have been if she hadn't shared her knowledge of the island with us.
