Michael was a great host advising on places to eat and finding our bearings.The room was very clean and comfortable with fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge which was most welcome.The Braemar is very well located for the town minutes from restaurants pubs ect and short walk to the prom.Great stay would return thank-you

We had a lovely time, it is immaculately clean and well maintained, bed very comfy, we were made very welcome, Breakfast was first class, we are just disappointed we didn’t find this place years ago, we will be back soon

Solo trip

Michael was a welcoming host. My room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs. It was to nice to have the flexibility of having breakfast each morning. The only negative was that it was on a busy road as this also contained residential properties. Given that, i wouldn't hesitate to book the Braemar Hotel again as it was a very pleasant place to stay and my breakfast was cooked to order and very plentiful.

Good b&b. Immaculately clean, well located for central Southport. Off street parking a bonus. Room facilities very good - hospitality tray, room fridge, internet TV (bring your Netflix password!). Really nice guest lounge with well stocked honesty bar. Hosts friendly and knowledgeable about local eateries etc. Recommended.

Relaxing and Excellent Hotel

We spent 4 nights at The Braemar Hotel, Michael the host was there to greet us, he gave us local information of where to eat etc. We were travelling to Liverpool by train for the day and he was very helpful by giving directions to the train station and times of trains etc. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and had all the extras to make our stay comfortable. Always on hand if we needed anything, a very delightful and friendly place to stay! We intend to return for another visit as it was a relaxing few days and everything we wanted was to hand. We would highly recommend this hotel!!

The property set a very high standard. Felt very homely and welcomed and helped in with our luggage by Michael and we found him a great host .The room was immaculate and so many nice touches like fresh milk and filtered water and Yorkshire teabags which are my kinda cup of tea. Also a small fridge in the wardrobe which really did give this our thumbs up. Ice cold drinks while getting ready to go out. It’s right on the doorstep of everything you would need like cafes restaurants and shopping. We stayed 3 nights and still so many shops and bars to choose next time and also met some nice people along the way. It really was a great time spent at the Braemar. Keep doin what you do Michael we really enjoyed our stay. See u soon .

Great B&B

We had a lovely two day break, the owner Michael was very welcoming and easy to contact if you needed anything. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and located near shops, prom and restaurants. The addition of the fridge in the room was great, fresh milk for your brew genius.Great place stay and would definitely come back.

Really lovely place. Michael is a very good host and very helpful. Very nice, clean room. Property just a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants, and pier. We didn't have breakfast - but the breakfast room is lovely. EV charging in the car park was a bonus! Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the Braemar for two nights and found the location ideal, Southport is a very nice town with lots of nice restaurants. Mike was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with lots of choice and delivered efficiently.

Genuinely cannot fault this hotel, from the friendliness & hospitality of the owners to the cleanliness & quality of the rooms. The location is excellent & everything is walkable. If I’m ever in Southport again then this is the hotel I will be staying in. Fantastic !!!!
