"Hotel is under thorough renovation, a reason why it’s getting very bad reviews. We thought it was pretty decent: reception area, room and breakfast room have been done and are nice. There was no noise. By the time it’s finished prices will double, no doubt, so enjoy it now at a relatively low price (given its proximity to Yellowstone NP). At the same time, I think management would be wise to make a clear mention in the hotel’s description about the fact that major renovations are underway."

We would have rated 5 stars, but the proximity to the train station and regular train horns through the night made a full restful sleep difficult. "My wife and I took our 5 year old granddaughter to Yellowstone and thought Emigrant, Montana would be a good base camp. Jean and John’s house proved to be the best vacation rental of the 15 or so we have rented. The view of the mountains is stunning and the house is wonderfully quiet and secluded. Free onsite laundry with soap and dryer sheets included, free smores kits for the firepits, free use of binoculars and hiking stick for Yellowstone, free refillable water bottle as well! The river view and sound was amazing, all soaps and shampoos in the showers, make up removal wipes, Kuerig in the room, indoor heated pool, and outdoor hot tub, this hotel overall was a 10/10!"
