"Asked for a ground floor room, away from street noise and we got it! This is a superior property, with good customer service. We'll stay here rather than properties further down the 5. We've stopped staying at several Motel 6 properties (Carlsbad, Button Willow, Oceanside) because of bad treatment and maintenance issues. I always call to confirm a ground floor room, for we senior citizens, and when one of us gets there, they haven't honored the written or verbal request. Or their promise!...

"This is an older motel that has been completely refurbished. Clean and quiet, comfortable bed, too. I didn't try the wifi but my guess is it would be fast because there is a router in every room. Too many motels have routers that are supposed to cover multiple rooms. My only complaint is it was a little hard to roust someone up to check me out around 7:30 or 8:00 AM"

"All I have to say is OMG the worse hotel I’ve stayed at in my whole life! The front desk lady was so unprofessional, the rooms were dirty (the bathroom’s waste basket full of trash from previous guests). We were moved to another room (room 24) and it smelled so bad and the bed was so lumpy my back was in so much pain the next day. They also started sweeping in front of our room and banging the broom against the door at 7am they also kept hitting the wall with rims or barrels don’t know what...

"Even though the sign on office door said OPEN you have to stand out in the cold and try to communicate through a little glass window (I checked in at 4:30 pm not a late or after hours check in. Bedding was very thin, TV channels extremely poor and tv was held into place by a toilet paper roll!? Bathroom walls are dirty with holes in the wall, there were men outside carrying on after quiet hours but Management did nothing in regards to their noise or behavior. Not a pleasant stay and I won’t book...
