Good restaurant short drive away for supper. Off road parking. Didn't feel need to unpack car. Lounge area and lobely outside spaces. Perfect stop over.Will stay again en route to south of France. "

"There is no front desk on site, you have to get your key in a bar next street, despite a parking on site and an «entrance » sign… Also breakfast is served no later than 9:30 and rooms have to be returned by 10am (they accommodate 1or 2h extra) Restaurant closes super early as well… Bathroom was gross… Bed had hair in it!… Overall would def pay the extra bucks for an additional star!"

"It's not just to stay in a castle, it is to have the whole medieval experience including a magnificent tour given by Serge, your host. Serge and his wife have performed a very careful renovation of the castle, in which you wouldn't find anything misplaced, but at the same time, you get all the commodities needed. Great breakfast. It was a highlight of our trip. "

"Staff are very friendly, professional and polite! Breakfast was nice. Room quite small but was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was quite hard/firm. Shower room had a musty/damp smell and some mould in shower, extractor fan didnt seem to work and the shower head wouldnt stay up (kept falling down the adjustable bar) so had to bend down to wash my hair. Didn't have time to use the pool unfortunately. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good, again great staff! "

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

"The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "
