This was a wonderful hotel for our two-night stay. The room and bed were comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the television was large and modern. We particularly liked the room lighting and location in Old Town. The breakfast was also very good.

We stayed in early Nov 2024 and had the most wonderful time. The hotel was in great condition, incredibly spacious rooms, restaurant was clean, staff were so kind and the location was close to everything. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Professional and courteous staff, could not be more kind and helpful. Looked after us well. Breakfast of very high standard. Only negative was lack of hanging space for clothes due to inclusion of mini bar in room set up. Otherwise an excellent location for everything.

Gem of a hotel in pedestrian Ljubljana
This is a great historic hotel that has been renovated to an upscale boutique hotel. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with the local blueberry liquor and a homemade cookie which was a really nice touch. The room was spacious, quiet and so comfortable. Noise was nonexistent and automatic black out shades were greatly appreciated. The breakfast was buffet style with something for everyone. This historic home comes to life with placards and artifacts from its earlier days. This hotel is highly recommended and we would love to return here one day! Offsite parking is available with about a 3 block walk to the hotel. They will provide assistance with luggage if required.

Hotel Heritage is one of the best European hotels without a doubt!! Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! We loved everything!!. The best location in Ljubljana, the history of the building, the warmth of their stuff, the delicious breakfast, the beautiful rooms...Small details make great hotels: they gave us a beautiful souvenir at the end of our stay & they got us breakfast the night before our very early flight. Overall this is an excellent hotel but we do have three criticisms. We were a party of seven in four rooms. One room for was one week, the other three rooms were for 4 nights. In the biggest room on the top floor the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room. In the room we booked for one week we complained that there was nowhere to place one of our two suitcases and not enough cupboard space to unpack them both. We asked for a stand for the suitcase which the hotel could not / would not provide, which we thought was poor service. Also we suggested to the manager that the towels for the bath / showers were too thin and too small and also, there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. We had to keep our washing equipment (razor, deodorant etc) on the windowsill in the bedroom. Also, the heated towel rail never came on so it was impossible to “recycle” the towels because they were always damp. If the management improved these details at Hotel Heritage it would be 10/10 but as it is we give it 8/10 overall

My only issue with this hotel was that the AC was hotel limited to a minimum of 21°C temperature and it was 33°C outside in Ljubljana. The AC was not able to keep up and I'm sure my room never got below 27°C which made it difficult to sleep comfortably at night. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was helpful...
