This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and the hotel has a boutique/old world charm. The breakfast is amazing - by far the best breakfast we have had in Europe and they leave the pastries in the breakfast/lounge area all day so you can help yourself to pasties tea/coffee all day if you wish. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was an excellent hotel overall. Location was perfect, near all the main places in downtown Ljubljana. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and varied and you could have tea/coffee and pastries in the afternoon. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and cleanliness was impeccable.

heir friendly, helpful staff. The parking was a problem because of the restrictions, but we got it sorted out with expert help from staff and really enjoyed our stay there. The property is beautiful with a pleasing, eclectic style that made it stand out from other hotels, and the breakfast was sublime. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is now my favorite hotel in Ljubljana. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor is charming, the rooms are lovely and the breakfast was so good! I highly recommend. I'll definitely be staying there again.

Concierge was so helpful! The location is wonderful, at the edge of the pedestrian zone, yet still quiet. So convenient for sightseeing, yet close to transportation. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very much appreciated the loan of a bus pass and help navigating the system for some visits outside the city!

The staff was the best hotel staff I may have ever met. Gabe was my first contact and he was very welcoming and grabbed a map to show me the best spots around then walked me to my room offering to help with my bags. Room was very clean and very nice. Outstanding service and beautifully elegant hotel

We were greeted by Jovan, the most wonderful and helpful employee. He showed us to the loveliest room on the top floor of this elegant hotel, decorated and designed to delight. Each nook and corner beautifully appointed. Breakfast was delicious with quaint and elegant room with delicious food and courteous help. We rate it outstanding in all areas!!!

I never write reviews, but I have to write this one. If you ever travel to Ljubjana (and I hope you do, as it’s stunningly beautiful) don’t miss the Lesar Hotel Angel. It is the most welcoming, classy and charming B B I’ve ever stayed in . Everything about it, from the well-appointed rooms to the breakfast to the staff, is first rate and first class. You won’t regret this elegant and cozy hotel!

We spent just one night in Ljubljana and booked the Lesar Hotel Angel without many expectations. We are so glad we did it. The interiors are quite characteristic, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was really superior. Since the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, there is no parking nearby. You'll have to unload you luggage in a temporary parking area, and move the car 350m far. The plus side is that you'll be right in the center of the city, with plenty of places to eat and visit.

Much of the listing is inaccurate. For example, there is no parking on site or nearby. Also not all rooms have a bathtub. Service was kind but hotel is a little overpriced for rooms. Shower has a hard time draining if you don’t turn it off every 2 minutes. Breakfast was 7.5/10 great selection but only cold foods.
