"Convenient hotel in the centre of Bala, historic building which made it interesting. The room was clean and comfortable, rather warm but a fan was provided. Nice modern bathroom. Enjoyed a very good evening meal in the bar."

"Lovely property well-equipped. Close to Barmouth centre. Be prepared for a bright starlight sky thanks to no light pollution...but also be prepared for a walk up/down steps when you need a wee...little scary in the dark and slippery in october. Really enjoyed our stay."

"We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window.
