Each lovely barn enjoys its own private enclosed garden and each boasts a fabulous hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring this wonderful corner of Wales. These adjoining cottages would make a fabulous location for large groups and families holidaying together.
The location is perfect for exploring the very best of North Wales and the border lands, outdoor enthusiasts will certainly delight in the myriad of activities on offer nearby. These include white water rafting, mountain bike trails, canoeing, golf and excellent walking and birdwatching. Close by lies the lovely town of Llangollen where visitors will find an abundance of interesting shops, inns and restaurants and great attractions including horse drawn canal boat trips and historic steam train journeys. From here, there are narrowboat trips across the famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct, the highest and longest on the whole canal system, and the surrounding Dee Valley is a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop for climbing, abseiling and gorge walking. Sitting high above Llangollen are the mysterious ruins of Dinas Bran Castle, the legendary hiding place of the Holy Grail, and well worth the walk to take in the fabulous views, whilst Chirk with its lovely National Trust castle is also close by. Other attraction include Zip World, Chester Zoo, Snowdonia Nation Park and the city of Wrexham to name but a few.
The cottages are located within easy access to road and rail links, with three railway stations within 10 miles. Manchester and Liverpool airports are just an hour’s drive away. Also within easy reach is the pretty market town of Shrewsbury, as well as the cities of Chester and Birmingham. Shop 2 miles and pub 1 mile.
