"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. "This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use....

"Very unfriendly receptionist. After long drive to get there we were treated badly. We asked for information about sightseeing in Enna and were bluntly told they had none. They told us nothing about facilities at the hotel and just handed us keys to the room. "We spent three days at the property. Have absolutely no complaints. The restaurant meals, complimentary breakfast and their snack bar food were all fabulous. We participated in a wine tasting dinner, it was great. Also did a wine tour which was very interesting. Their staff are lovely, the grounds are extensive and make for fabulous hiking. All around, we'd go back in a heartbeat."

"Really nice Hotel. Highly reccomended if you are visiting Cefalu. The town is charging. My wife and i loved it. The breakfast was the best we got in all the places we stay except one.i really reccomend this Hotel.the owner was present at all times and ensured everything was top. Many thanks to Massimo."

"We stayed 7 nights here for our honeymoon and had a mixed experience. The service from Martha, Ita, Francesca, Giuseppe, Michaela and every staff member was excellent—always helpful, kind, and professional. The property itself is beautiful, offering a peaceful, rustic atmosphere with stunning landscapes. However, while it’s common for upscale places to offer honeymoon perks, none were provided here. Although the hotel is adults-only, the owner’s children were at the pool one day during our stay. The owner’s dog, Bruno, is very well cared for, but sadly, Bruno’s two puppies were kept in poor, cruel conditions under the sun. As for the food, it was good but noy amazing. Lunch is €30 and lacks any protein, with the mostly the same menu offered daily. Dinner had a good menu, but the portions were extremely small. Wine pours, both at the bar and during meals, were very small, especially for the price. The pool also needed better maintenance. Overall, a beautiful place with room for improvement."
