"The house is high on a hill overlooking Oban. It's a little tricky driving up there but welcome to Old Scotland. There is a lot to see around Oban but we had some stormy weather when we were there so we went to the distillery."

"I booked this place for my family (seven of us from 5-70) because it was close to Oban, and it served that need well. It also has lots of room, easy walk to Tralee Beach and the fish and chips place, a fireplace, and the person next door was extremely helpful and nice. "Have stayed in this hotel several times and am never disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location and is always very clean. I also appreciate how close it is for walking into the town. I would like to mention that the staff were once again very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. I plan to go back to Oban soon and I know this will be the hotel I use again next time."

"I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!"
