"The picture did not do this hotel justice. It was much more charming. We had the seven course dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was delightful, artfully presented, wonderfully served, and in a great setting. We stumbled across this hotel when travel delays changed pur plans and we had to find a room fast. It was a great find on Expedia and one of the lodging highlights of our two weeks in France."

"This is the most wonderful place to stay! Super charming, wonderful and helpful staff, and most spacious and comfortable rooms. There is parking and the gate closes at night for security. The restaurant is elegant and fine dining. This was one of the best dinners we had in France. The Auberge is walking distance to Chenonceau. We will only stay here for future visits!"

"The staff was superb. We, having been in France for 3 weeks prior to our arrival had quite a bit of laundry. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. Nothing beats this location as the rear of the hotel puts you right in the center of a pedestrian street lined on all sides with cafes and restaurants as well as the entry to the Chateau Amboise. Free street parking in the front of the hotel could not be more convenient. While the hotel interior could use some updating, our room was perfect. The staff out performed expectations. Access to surrounding Loire Valley points of interest made this a perfect base for exploration."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pierre et Vacances in Loches. The apartment was clean, quiet and quite spacious (for the 2 of us) and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. The parking was very good and it is a few minutes walk into the town where there are several places to eat."
