"The location could not be better. Active Plaza area with trams, buses, taxis, trains, every mode of transportation. However, you can walk to the park, the shops, the mall very easily. Hotel is beautiful with good staff. Breakfast Buffet is the best I have ever eaten. Gym is a bit out of the way but really large enough is get a decent "vacation" workout. My stay was really enjoyable."

"Loved staying in this hotel. Rooms were very pleasant with very comfortable beds. Great bunkbeds for the kids. Easy walk to the tram -about 10 minutes. Good hotel restaurant and also an awesome rooftop restaurant and bar with an option to eat outside. (note rooftop only open on the weekends). Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend!"

"This was a brilliant hotel for us a family of four with two teenagers. Table tennis, board games, health spa and gym. Breakfast wad amazing and totally centrally located 5 mins from central station and tram and bus options. Staff were totally great and generous in their giving of some bits free of charge. Hotel room clean tidy very comfortable and cool with fan if needed will definitely stay again"

"Reception sign pointed in the wrong direction, there was no one there and you had to call to get your key done. Couldn't store my luggage as no staff were on board. I loved the hotel but they need staff."

"The location is great for the city and for sports venues. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, had decent vegan options (also had gluten free if you need that). The restaurant area was a little cramped and can be busy. The room was small but that’s ok as you don’t spend much time there. Cleaning really needs to be improved. The tv remote looked like it had never been cleaned and the bedding was stained. "

"Very simple accommodation, check in restricted to 3-5pm (after which it closes) and zero WiFi signal. Bathroom was very basic and we had to put the sheets on ourselves. At the end of the stay they had to be removed, everything washed up and rubbish taken away. I'm not against this concept, but not for 700kr a night, out of season. This also wasn't made obvious when booking. For an extra 200-300kr you can stay in a decent hotel, including breakfast which made this very poor value in comparison....

"It was okay.. kind of felt like a dorm room. Start was friendly though. But a bit outside of the city. Have to take a tram to city center which was about 20/30 min and to get to any museums was 45 min tram. Not very walkable to anything. At night doesn’t feel very safe to be outside pt walk to the tram which is about an10 min walk from the hotel. "

"The public areas are lovely - the space in front of the mansion, the breakfast/restaurant room with amazing views over the lake. It has lots of history, and the lobby is typically Swedish in its effortless cool. The room was a little less impressive. For the cost it was basically two adjoining conference rooms with very little in the way of comfort, and a very small, disappointingly dated bathroom. The view from the window was pleasant enough, over the road, but the building was incredibly poor in terms of soundproofing. The crystal clear sound of the resident above in the midst of his extraordinarily long urinations was just one of the sounds we really didn't need to hear. Again, the public areas in these buildings (all conference spaces) were well-furnished and geared up to team-building, it would seem. I would imagine there are a lot of such events through the year, and in July, when most businesses in Sweden are not operating anywhere near capacity, the hotel has more 'regular' guests. It would be good if there was a little more effort made for these guests, given the lovely location of the mansion. It is what attracted us, but really, what we got was an hour of that for breakfast, and a 1980s/90s conference space for the rest of the time. There wasn't even an outside space in our 'block', although one block did have one. That would be a pleasant and easily made addition to each block - the rooms are pretty small, so anything extra would be a bonus. "
