"Perfect for a stop on our way back home. Quiet and very spacious apartment with everything you need. Comfortable beds and comfortable shower/bathroom. There is a supermarket around the corner. "

"Die Doppelhaushälfte am Rande einer kleinen Siedlung ist recht großzügig mit großer Wohnküche und Wohnbereich und großem Bad mit Wanne und Dusche. Es ist ein gewachsenes Haus, das Stück für Stück saniert wird - finde ich gut. Die Pelletheizung und Heizungsanlage sind super, Veranda und Garten, den wir etwas größer erwartet hatten. Für einen Hund samt Grill auf jeden Fall groß genug. Kleinere Reparaturen könnten aber schon gleich erledigt werden."

"The property was nothing short of exceptional. It is just a stone's throw from the riverbanks, offering both tranquility and convenience. The surroundings are picturesque, and the property itself is impeccably maintained. Every little detail enhanced the experience. Charming!"

"Beautiful place that was plenty of room for my family of 6. The beauty of Germany surrounded us in each direction as we walked around outside the property. Walking distance to the grocery store, bank, Biergarten and pharmacy is a huge convenience. Silvia was an excellent host and more than accomodating and very kind. We will stay here each time we visit family in the Lengfurt area. Highly recommend. Also, parking with room for two cars in the driveway in front of the house was a huge plus. "

Pedestal fan in room a bonus for those warm summer nights! Building itself is ongoing refurbishment. And there is no lift/elevator. 1 km from main railway station and about 100m from tram/bus-stop. Very easy access to the city. A great holiday rental in a wonderful historic town."

"WOW!!! This property sits high on a hill & is breathtaking! Staff was very friendly & helpful. Elegant ambiance, so many different areas to view, lots of things for children to do. Wish we would’ve been able to stay longer! Needed a room for 3, got a family room which included 3 separate rooms & 1 1/2 bathrooms!!! Highly recommend!!!"

"A tall modern hotel near the train station - it is one stop more or less on a tram from the train station, and close enough to walk unless you have oppressive amounts of baggage. Nice breakfast, but not much in the way of dining around that I saw. There was a Lidl across the street where you can get inexpensive food to eat in your room. Downtown Wuerzburg is a few stops away on the tram to the Juliuspromenade stop. The 4 stop ticket for 1.50 euros will cover that. "

"I stayed at the Barthels for two nights, arriving after a very long drive and immediately being able to relax. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable and in an incredible location right in the heart of the old town of Würzburg - I could see the cathedral dome right outside my window! Despite that, it wasn’t noisy and I wasn’t ever woken up to the sound of church bells chiming or street noise. There’s no parking at the hotel but there are so many car parks nearby it wasn’t a problem, and I enjoyed the walk across the Old Bridge every morning to the place I’d chosen to park. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe was great. Würzburg is a pretty city and The Barthels was the perfect base to explore it from."

"A very nice hotel located only a few minutes walk from the center of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and definitely worth buying or adding on as an option when you book. Parking was easy and spacious. The hotel was very clean (apart from the shower head that had a lot of mineral build up which I cleaned off myself to improve the water pressure in the shower). Located right across the road from a school but we didn't experience any noise problems at all. It's centrally located in a safe area and withing easy walking distance to the main town square. Would we stay here again? Most definitely yes! A very nice hotel providing every amenity we needed."
