"Absolutely amazing and much cheaper than an equivalent hotel in the UK. Bedroom was huge and spotless. It was a super king double, with lovely views over the countryside. The continental breakfast was superb. There is no kettle in the room, but you do have access to a kettle outside, so bring your own tea and coffee."

"Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful."

"Nice clean and cheap hotel as advertised. Staff friendly and quick check in. Rooms are decent size although separate wash hand basin in room was a bit odd. Air con functional which was good as warm nights. The breakfast is good selection and no complaints. The only downside I found was location which I hadn’t realised is almost as an off shoot of main roads, between a McD and a petrol station. "Beautiful, tranquil and rustic spot by the Loire, looked after by the most fabulous hosts. We were welcomed with a lovely surprise of bubbly, moules frites and fromages.
